We’re kick starting the new year with somethinghealthy, gluten free, vegetarian, super crazy easy and delicious –> this blueberry muffin smoothie recipe.

I feel like SO many people start the new year with the best intentions of eating healthy, so let me help you and present you with this ridiculously easy and tasty smoothie, ok?

I’ve received quite a few e-mails from some of you saying how much you’re enjoying my HealthyPeach Cobbler Smoothie, so of course, I thought todaywould be the perfect opportunity to share another dessert flavored smoothie with you.

If you guys know me at all, you know I have the largest sweet tooth.

Ever.

So anytime I can trick myself into eating something healthy that tastesdessert… it’s seriously a big deal.

Probably quite a few, because I have 6 bags of frozen blueberries in my freezer… my grocery store was having a major sale on frozen blueberries and you know me, I can’t pass up a good deal.

But, seriously, you guys, it’s really good.

I love this blueberry muffin smoothie recipe, because

3. It’s easy.

This blueberry muffin smoothie, to me, really does taste like a blueberry muffin in liquid form! It’s thick and creamy and has a warm muffin-y flavor thanks to oatmeal, cinnamon, and blueberry greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz) container non fat blueberry greek yogurt I used Simply 100
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oatmeal*
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey more or less, to taste
  • pinch salt

  • Blend all ingredients in a high powdered blender until smooth!**
