Instructions

Instructions are for 4 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Whisk together eggs, oil and spices in a bowl. Add the beans and stir until all of the green beans are covered with the egg batter.

  2. Remove excess liquid and add the parmesan cheese and stir thoroughly.

  3. Spread the beans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake on upper level in the oven for 15–20 minutes or until the beans have turned a nice color.

Tip!

If you like your beans crispy, put your empty baking sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes prior to baking the beans. Be sure all of the beans are coated with batter so none of them turn out dry. Also make sure they are in a single layer on the baking sheet. Enjoy!

You could weigh it out, or divide what's on the pan in half and then half again.

Hi Brenda, If you look at the ingredients box, there is another little box above it. It says "servings", the default is 4 servings, just click 1 serving and it gives you the info you require ;)

Can you please explain the 6g in the Orange/red circle and compare it to a 9g in a green circle. Thanks

The green circle is for keto recipes and the red is for liberal low carb - it indicates which meal plans where these would be found. Of course, as 6 is less than 9g, this recipe would also be appropriate for keto as well. There is some flexibility with what recipes you can incorporate.

Why is the cheese measured in ml? This is a liquid measurement. This recipe needs to be updated and corrected.

Unfortunately this is a hazard of converting the American measurements where they do measure cheese and other solid ingredients by volume rather than weight. Our Recipes team is hard at work coming up with a solution that makes sense for all of our website users.

The effect won't be the same and the "batter" may not stick as well.
