This keto peanut butter pie recipe has all of the components of a perfect dessert! It is made with a delicious chocolate cookie crust that we create with a raw cacao powder superfood blend called Cacao Bliss. We partnered with Earth Echo for this recipe as their Cacao Bliss is ideal for adding a rich chocolate flavor to any of your keto bakes.

Next, the pie crust is filled with a creamy peanut butter filling. Then it is topped with a light and fluffy sugar-free whipped topping. You can even drizzle chocolate and add crushed peanuts on top for a crunchy texture.

This recipe is super easy to make, and it is a no-bake recipe, so we simply put it in the fridge to set. Keto Chocolate Pie Crust

One of the most important parts of any pie is to have a perfectly paired pie crust. To make my favorite chocolate cookie pie crust with almond flour for this keto peanut butter pie, I partnered with Earth Echo who makes Cacao Bliss. Cacao Bliss is a keto-friendly cocoa powder with a rich, chocolatey taste that will curb any chocolate cravings. It is made with raw cacao powder and superfoods such as turmeric and coconut nectar with anti-inflammatory properties.

Cacao Bliss can be used to replace unsweetened cocoa powder for all of your keto baking recipes. It is also dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and 100% vegan while tasting exactly like regular cocoa powder. This way, you can enjoy chocolatey baked goods while eating healthy. I even add it to my morning coffees for that delicious rich chocolate flavor and to get a healthy start to my day.

Use my code KETOFOCUS at checkout to try out Cacao Bliss and get 15% off your order!

    Substitutions

You can use either unsweetened cacao powder or Cacao Bliss which is slightly sweetened with Monk Fruit, a sugar-free sweetener. If you substitute unsweetened cocoa powder for Cacao Bliss, be sure to get the 100% unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao powder since some brands may have added sugars and you will only need 2 tablespoons in the keto pie crust since the unsweetened cocoa powder is pretty rich for your chocolate peanut butter pie.

The final whipped topping can also be removed if you want to decrease the number of calories and carbs in the keto peanut butter pie.

As far as other nut butters go, you can probably get away with use almond butter but I haven’t tried it yet, so let me know if you do substitute with a nut butter.

Another substitution, is to use coconut cream instead of the heavy cream. Make sure you whip it up like you would for making whipped cream.

    Is Peanut Butter Keto?

Yes, peanut butter is keto-friendly. That being said, peanuts do contain carbs, so it is still best to eat them in moderation. In ¼ cup of peanuts, there are around 2.79g net carbs. When you select a peanut butter for this keto peanut butter pie recipe, make sure to check to see that the peanut butter has no added sugars. Many brands of peanut butter will add sugar for sweetness and flavor.

    Storage

This is one keto pie recipe that can be made ahead of time, which is ideal if you have lots of other cooking or baking to do. This sugar free peanut butter pie will hold it’s shape and the flavor is still just as good if not better, the next day. Store your pie in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Don’t keep the pie at room temperature for very long as the whipped cream might start to melt.

    2. Thank you for this realy nice recipe! I just finished making it and can’t wait for the dessert time tonight!

there is just one thing which went not well. I believe that in this recipe we have to use blanched grounded almonds which are more greasy than the almond flour we find here (really fine and looking just like wheat flour) because my crust was really dry. I had to put more butter but it still was not looking nice.
I will not make the mistake next time 🙂
