My Project

Students will use sensory bins for play, to help their imagination and explore sensory experiences. Sensory play is really important for young students and this will help make it fun for them! These bins also go along with our themes for our early childhood curriculum so they will be helping students learn about different themes too! My goal is that students will explore, use their imagination and enjoy sensory experiences. We will use these during centers time. Students love playing in the sensory bin and often all want to play in it, so having more options will be helpful.

How do you organize sensory bins? ›

I like to store all of my bags in larger tubs. Some of the bags are seasonal, and some are aligned to our reading curriculum. Keep an extra bin for shovels, tweezers, cups, and tubes. These tools are a great addition to the sensory bins and since they are not specific to a theme, I like to keep them separate.
