Delirium Poem Innocent Dietmar Juergen Barth, 75, of Boise, Idaho, joined his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in his home surrounded by family.

Dietmar was born on May 23, 1941 in Roggen, (East Prussia) Germany to Karl and Emma Barth. He went to school and trade school in Bochum, Germany and later learned his millwright trade as a steel mill in Bochum. On April 16. 1961 he came to the United States. He wanted to stay a maximum of two years and had an immigra- tion visa.

After three months in Wieser with relatives, He found work in Boise with Yanke Machine Shop where he worked for 45 years as the fabrications shop superintendent and made some of his most treasured friendships. In 1981 Dietmar and Ron Yanke founded Idaho Tank and Culvert where he worked until 2009. In 1965, he married the love of his life, Jenay Nelson. They spent 51 years making memories togeth- er. In 1967, they welcomed their one and only child, Jeffery Karl who he loved dearly.

In 1980, Dietmar and Jenay Began build- ing their cabin at Terrace Lakes in Garden Valley, Idaho. The cabin was favorite place on earth where he made wonder- ful friendships, playing golf and enjoying the outdoors. He was a very strong and loving man who would be there to help anyone at any time. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it be golfing, fishing or just hanging out with them. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenay of the home; his son, Jeff Barth and wife Cindy of Meridian along with sister, broth- and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Alphonsus Cancer Care including Dr. Karl Schultheiss, Tara Stockwell and staff, Dr. Lindsay Sales and staff, Dr. Bruce Anderson, and Heart and Home Hospice for the won- derful care and compassion.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Memorial service will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Ten Mile Christian Church. Dietmar Barth 1941 2017 George Mowry was born September 9, 1931 in Minot, North Dakota, to George L. and Grace Nelson Mowry. He grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota in a Nazarene parsonage with two younger siblings, Jim Mowry and Joanne (Mowry) Simmons.

He died on Palm Sunday, April 9, in a care facility in Caldwell, with his family around him. George graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1949 and and began his college career at Northwest Nazarene College. He graduated from NNC in 1953. While at NNC, he directed a college pep band and was president of the Olympian Society. He graduated from the University of Idaho with an M.Ed in Music Education in 1954.

During his graduate study he taught music in a number of small school districts near Moscow. He was drafted into the Army in 1954 and served as a bugler and in an army band in Germany, affording travel opportunities to Europe and the Middle East. From 1956- 58, he taught high school music in West Bend Iowa a real In 1959, he completed a second degree from Vandercook School of Music in Chicago. In August of 1959, he married the love of his life, Sharon Hartley, in Boise, Idaho. To that marriage were born one daughter and three sons.

George was a music teacher for sev- eral years and also served many churches in music ministry. Over the years, he moved into full- time ministry, serving churches in Oregon, Idaho, California and Washington, both in worship and in evangelism and discipleship. His favorite challenge to choir members as they entered the sanctuary was George was characterized by his love of the Lord and his love for people, and he enjoyed noth- ing more than bringing these two together. He was often called a Social Meeting the needs of people for food or furniture or friendship brought him great joy. He actu- ally had hernia surgery as a result of his prodigious George had a love of adventure and travel and visited all 50 states and many countries.

Every activity was more fun and more work when he was around. He loved including his children and eleven grandchildren in any number of projects, usually in service to others. He often roped friends and colleagues into these enterprises as well, earning the title of All four of his children have followed him and the Lord into ministry. George is survived by his wife Sharon of Nampa, a brother, Dr. James N.

Mowry, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, a sister, Joanne Simmons, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, a daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Potter of Napa, and grand- daughters, Kat (San Diego, CA) Megan, (Nampa, ID) and Eileen, a son, George Douglas (Aggie) Mowry of Richland, WA and grand- children, Sarah (Tyler) Butler of Seattle, WA, George Timothy (Rachel) Mowry of Richland, WA, and Hannah of Ellensburg, WA, a son, Jon (Kathy) Mowry of Nashville, TN, and grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily, and Julia, a son, David (Melissa) Mowry of Twin Falls, Idaho and grandchil- dren, Camilla (Nampa, Id) and Blake, brother-in-law and sister- in-law Neil and Marilyn McKay of Nampa, Idaho and sister-in- law, Phyllis Howard, of Caldwell, Idaho. There will be a time of visita- tion and a viewing at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So.

George Laurence Nelson Mowry September 9, 1931 April 9, 2017 Geraldine Lois Hopkins was wel- comed into the arms of her Lord, celebrating her 93rd birthday on March 30, 2017.

Geraldine was born on March 30, 1942 to Gerhard and May S. Falk in St. John, WA. She attended schools in St. John, graduating in 1941.

She enrolled at Whitworth College, graduating with a degree in 1945. She represented Whitworth, excelling in vocal and orchestral groups, singing and playing her violin for countless occasions, includ- ing the weekly Whitworth Chapel Hour radio broadcast. Gerry (to those who knew her best) and her close friend, Margie Schauble, published a local newsletter for the St. John area for a few years. During that time, she was employed by the DSHS office in Colfax.

On June 5, 1948, Geraldine was united in marriage to Howard D. Hopkins, also from St. John. They began farming on the family ranch in 1949. Howard and Geraldine were charter members of the Ewan Church of the Nazarene, estab- lished in 1950.

Impressed with call to full time service, they left farming to begin a 45-year career of pastoral min- istry together. Over the years they served faithfully in Nazarene churches across the Northwest including: Garfield, WA; their home church, Ewan, WA; Kellogg, ID; Meridian, ID; Pomeroy, WA; Lewiston, ID; and concluded with an additional five years in Ewan, WA. Geraldine was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed animals, gardening, creative projects, playing board games with fam- ily, and most of all music (of all genres), instilling that love in her children. She served congrega- tions communities with her gift- ed talents as a vocalist, violinist, pianist, organist, choir director, member of the Lewiston Chapter of Sweet Adelines for several years, Bible study teacher, and in numerous other capacities areas of leadership, giving self- lessly to others.

Geraldine is survived by her children: Nancy Ted Mordhorst of Pullman, WA; Randy Rachel Hopkins of Middleton, ID; Gregory wife, Christine Faith, current- ly in Uruguay, S.Am.; Stephen Edith Hopkins of Boise, ID; Sandra Tom Weir of Kent, WA; and Kendall Tricia Hopkins of Spokane, WA; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Helen Cowan of St. John, WA. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, a daughter-in-law, and a sister- in-law. A service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017, at at the Christian Life Assembly Church in St. John with Pastor Dennis Hinds officiating.

Interment will take place at the St. John Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church. Private viewing times may be arranged with the Bruning Funeral Home, Colfax, WA. The family wants to express special thanks for the excel- lent care given to Geraldine for more than 9 years by the care- givers at Glenhaven, Pullman, WA.

Geraldine Lois Hopkins March 30, 1924 March 30, 2017 Junior Jay Larson, age 89, of Glenns Ferry, passed away at his home, on Sunday, April 9, 2017.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the VFW Hall, Post 3646, in Glenns Ferry. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mtn Home. Junior was born in Churchill, Idaho on July 5, 1927, to Gustaf and Johanna Andreason Larson. He was the youngest of eight children. He attended school in Dietrich, Idaho and went on to be a rancher with his father and brothers, immediately out of school.

He went on to join the US Army, during the Korean War and served his county with great pride. Junior was one of the founding members of The Idaho Cowboy Association and rode the rodeo circuit for many years. It was the rodeo that brought him together with his long time love. Junior married Helen Clifford Lawrence on December 24, 1952, in Jerome. They moved on to settle in Glenns Ferry in 1973, where they spent the remainder of their 53 years together.

Junior applied his skills in con- struction, and operating heavy equipment. After retirement he went on to use those skills in the farming community on Sailor Creek and Grindstone. Later in life, he turned his attentions and able hands to helping Glenns Ferry Community and the VFW Post 3646. Never one to be trapped indoors, Junior enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. Sometimes he could be found sitting on his front porch enjoying the view of the Snake River.

Junior was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, a grand- son, parents and his siblings. He is survived by his daugh- ter Barbara and her husband Steve May; grandchildren Brandie (Eyad) Hamad, Maria Cress and Derrick (Tracey) May; great- grandchildren Catherine (Lance) Rousey, Donovan Hamad, Megan (William) Irving, Austin Cress, Kayleigh Cress, Cheyenne May, Natasha May and Krystal May. Junior Jay Larson 1927-2017 Nick Lewis Schaefer, 73, of Boise, Idaho passed away April 5, 2017 at Emerson House at Riverpointe Garden City.

Born on September 27, 1943, in Boise, Idaho, he was the son of the late Leonard L. Schaefer and Eileen C. (Cox) Neeley. He was raised in Boise and attended Borah High School class of 1961. He was a second genera- tion Machinist.

Learning in his Machine shop in Boise as a kid, his father tutored him in all things Mechanical as well as Machining, Fabricating, and Welding. His first jobs were as a Mechanic working on domestic and import cars for a couple of years, then he continued his career as a Machinist. Retiring in 2008, he spent 28 years working for Hewlett Packard Boise cam- pus. As a Model Maker working on a CNC Mill, he enjoyed work- ing for HP. In the later years he advanced into computer software focusing on CAD CAM, and the post processors for the machin- ing equipment.

He married his wife Tomalyn (Tomi) Myers of Boise in 1963, and they were together until her passing in 2008 from can- cer. They have a son S. Shayne Schaefer born in 1965. He was very mechanical and loved building and working on cars and race cars. He was involved with circle track open wheel Midgets, Sprint Cars and Supermodifieds from the up through early build- ing cars and crewing on sev- eral.

In the late after his son got his license the entire family got involved in Drag Racing. Teaching and passing on his Machinist, Mechanical and Fabrication skills on to his son Shayne (third gen Machinist). They built and raced Drag Cars, winning many championships, races and awards through the years. Nick Lewis Schaefer 1943 2017 Melvilyn Sharon Nisbett, 74, of Boise, passed away at home sur- rounded by four generations of family on April 9, 2017 of natural causes. Mel was born September 30, 1942 in Caldwell, Idaho, daugh- ter of Melvin and Faye Singley. She graduated from Borah High School in 1961 and worked as a bookkeeper and homemaker. In her early years she enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and barrel racing her horses. She participated in the Caldwell Night Rodeo, rode with the Ehcapa Bareback Riders and was an award winning competition shoot- er with pistols. Mel married Ron Nisbett in September of 1961 after a whirlwind courtship, their mar- riage lasted 52 years and beyond.

Together they had three daughters; Cyndi (Blackstone), Heather (Loewenstein) and Angie (Robertson), seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In early years Mel and Ron traveled the country working on the pipeline for gas lines dur- ing this time they lived with 2 daughters out of a travel trailer for months at a time. Mel was highly involved in her lives and the Masonic organi- zations they were all part of. She was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine, of the Nile, a Past Guardian of Jobs Daughters Bethel and was highly involved in El Korah Shrine Temple with Ron through many years and roles. This included being a Past Lady.

Ron and Mel loved to travel and entertain, always the life of the event. In later years, Mel loved to be with her family and enjoy her beautiful backyard and flowers. Family dinners were always held at her home and were lively and loving until the day she passed on to dance with Ron in the stars. She will be remembered as a woman of grace, joy, strength and love. She has passed those characteristics on to the family for whom she was matriarch.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cyndi and husband Eric Blackstone, Heather and husband Lance Loewenstein and Angie and husband Lukas Robertson; her grandchildren Krystl Nelson (and Tyler Dueling), Arden Blackstone (and Matthew Creech), Kyle Nelson, Trace Blackstone, Kevan Nelson, Bryce Loewenstein and Terran Blackstone; two great- grandchildren Annon Dueling and Brecken Dueling. She is pre- ceded in death by her parents Mel and Fay, her sister Crystal, brother Delbert and the love of her life, Ron.
